Chinese New Year 2016
Sun Wukong
In 2016, London celebrated the arrival of the Chinese New Year with a parade that took place in Trafalgar square and Chinatown. It was the year of the monkey, and blinkinLAB asked if I could create and animate a 3d version of Sun Wukong (also known as the Monkey King) for one of their projection mapping projects.
Apart from getting to know one of the most renowned characters of China's folk tales, I also had the pleasure to discover one of the gems of China's animation industry. Always nice to learn new stuff through work!
